Remake of “Agneepath”

Karan Johar is all set to remake the blockbuster, Agneepath. While he had to pay an astronomical amount to buy the rights of the Hollywood blockbuster Stepmom, which he is remaking in Hindi, he does not need to buy the rights to remake Agneepath as it is his home production.

"Surprisingly, Karan has not approached Abhishek Bachchan to play Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, which was played by the actor's father in the original. While Hrithik is still deciding if he wants to star in the remake, Karan is sure that Hrithik is the perfect choice.

But why are we making a remake of the original…why can’t there be originality, or even if it is a remake, why say it, half of the motivation to watch a remake film almost dies, even before the movie is released, There definitely should be a remake, but it is to be treated with a different flavor, like, if so and so scene could have been changed, probably it could have been more interesting

Like for instance, why talk round and round the bush, Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 3 was a remake, but it had its own humor, originality and freshness, and viewers enjoyed every bit of it…So the Idea is to show what people like to see again and again, with unique style and freshness.

Anyways, the remake version of Agneepath will be directed by Karan Malhotra. It is definitely going to be a great challenge for Karan Johar as well as a Hrithik to do justice to the film that achieved immense popularity and cult following previously. What do you think?

Talent Diva – Rani Mukerji

Making her acting debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1997), Mukerji had her first commercial success with Karan Johar's romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), her biggest commercial success so far, and won a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the film. She later starred in several films, most of which fared below expectations, but in 2002 she re-invented her image with the critically acclaimed drama Saathiya, for which she received numerous awards and nominations.
In 2004, her performances in the hit Hum Tum and the critically acclaimed Yuva earned her the Best Actress and the Best Supporting Actress awards at the Filmfare ceremony, making her the first actress to win two major awards in the same year. She later received unanimous praise for her portrayal of a blind, deaf and mute woman in Black (2005), for which she garnered numerous major awards. Mukerji has since established herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema.

“No One Killed Jessica” again gave her career a boost..lekin aage kya??? Why such good and beautiful actors like Rani Mukerji, Urmila Matondkar, Preity Zinta can’t be seen on Big Screen frequently, what is the reason, are we Indians always in search for New fresh face or Fresh talent...Quiet a dicey question to answer though, but when we compare Hollywood, the actors of the same age are still a great fame there, there are so many concepts and ideas where this beautiful ladies perfectly fit the bill, they are just as young...and the fact that Life starts at 30’ should be boldly accepted by the Indian Film Industry, and Television

Just dust your minds and coats there ill will be ‘n’ of scripts for these dashing ladies, we want to see more of these beauties on screen… If no I can suggest a number, which will definitely create a cherry buzz ;)

Work from Home Revolution

I stay at Vasai and my work place is Masjid Bunder, that’s what says, Shilpa one of the fellow commuters, she takes nearly 4 hrs, to commute from home to work and back. This is what “n” number of people say- but is there a solution for this? Why can’t the work place be closer to your home or the best is why can’t you work from home, got’ to be a very stupid question, but we really need to think on this, cos’ if we have a way out, there will be so many things automatically aligned and protected-

•    Like no crowded trains
•    No getting up early and reaching late
•    No skipping breakfast to reach on time to catch the train
•    No Bomb scare in a crowded train…ha ha ha(sounds funny but, very natural today)
•    No pressure of commuting so far and also reaching on time
•    You need not keep a full time maid
•    Socialite
•    Enjoy with your family, cos’ all you earn is to keep your family happy
•    Most important you’ll not spend more than half of your life in train

There are so many women like Shilpa who wants to spend a relaxed life, without quitting work, it might seem just nothing or minor for women who are rich and well off, but it does make a difference to a middle class women, who has to contribute to her household financials, I wish there is a way out someday….A revolution that might change lives and bring smiles!

Sunny Deol…The Superstar!

Sunny Deol was one of the brightest stars to hit the screens in the eighties with Betaab and Arjun. He still has the ‘it’ factor going as we saw in Gadar – Ek Prem Katha. He is action and intensity personified.

Sunny Deol was born as Ajay Singh Deol on 19th October 1952 in New Delhi, India. He is the son of actor Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. He has a younger brother, also an actor, Bobby Deol. His father married actress Hema Malini and Sunny has two half sisters Esha Deol, an actress and Ahana Deol. His cousin Abhay Deol is also an actor. He is married to Pooja Deol and they have two sons Rajveer Singh and Ranvir Singh. Sunny studied in Mumbai at the Sacred Heart High School and Podar College. England’s Old Web Theater is where he took lessons in acting and theater.
Yup! Its great Sunny paji's short Biography , But Sunny Pa Ji can actually think on few lines...
He had always been a Bollywood Superstar…However,  he could have been the super-hero forever, that to without any flips n flops , Few tips for the super-hero-

Sunny should make a grand entry in Mollywood/ Kollywood / Tollywood
He will be a superstar for decades with his strong personality and physic
Tough to all South Heroes like Nagarjuna , Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and more…
He has the looks and the physic to lay off 100 men at one time
He perfectly suits the voluptuous heroines/actresses in south
If by now he would have joined South movies, he would have been in par competing with Rajnikant, ofcourse , I apologise Rajnikant has no comparison, but definitely another Big name "Sunny Anna"

Still it’s not too late; I wish Sunny reads this post and gives it a thought…
What do you guys think …can sunny say ‘Yanna Rascala…Mind IT!”

Knock…Knock…Postman :)

There were hardly any means of communication in the olden days , other than letters, Postman was one of the most important person to most of the families, they were treated as a part of the family…The postman used to read and write the letters for them, he used to know the in and out of each family and was very attached…Today, with so many developments and modern means of communication …the postman with a Khaki Uniform and cycle is lost somewhere …even when a postman passes by on his cycle, we don’t even bother to look at him…times have changed people seem to have forgotten the importance of a postman and post office, Today the Khaki Uniform guy does not knock, just deposits all letters in the letter box and moves on…

I had to go the post office yesterday, I’d the address but reaching there was a task, I was going round n round the same old building, however I couldn’t see a post office, finally a lady helped me, her directions were simple, I was shocked to see the post office, the ceilings were cracked, the walls were not painted, the wooden table n chairs were broken, the gate was rusted, the floor was muddy, it would have been not cleaned or dusted for years , the water tap was leaking, the people working there looked so frustrated…maybe cos’ of the surroundings….I honestly don’t know how much they are paid, But I would like to suggest the Govt. of India that they should think of renovating the post office, give new look to the postman and his cycle, when the govt. can sanction Royal Enfield to policemen, then the postman can at least get a fixed gear bicycle. And all this can be done only with the taxes that Sharukh khan and Sachin Tendulkar pay to the govt.:)

The post Office is the only place where many people can trust their savings and investments, Then Why isn’t it promoted. People should know more and more about the importance and security of this place, ‘m sure the great multinational banks will have a tough time if govt. thinks reforming this old medium of communication and savings

Knock…Knock (Govt. of India) we want the Post Masters and Post Office Back in Action.

Friends! What do you think about this, please comment if you have more suggestions or Ideas to share on this post / concept

New Concepts and Ideas for Reality Shows in India

Indians are very creative, but I still don’t understand why we are not using this creativity when it comes to Indian Television, We see so many reality shows in different channels, the most famous show is “BIG BOSS 4” with Dolly Bindra blowing the roof with her Full volume talks, Pamela just burnt the floor with Salman and more…, There is KBC with BIG BEE as a host, the most fantastic show of the year, Amitabh Sir Rocks’! He's my favourite... goosebumps:)

However, these concepts of the show are copied from different countries, like AMERICAN IDOL, BIG BROTHER, WWTBA Millionaire’ and more…I won’t have a debate on why concepts are copied or why it not original, but I would love to contribute my thoughts and suggestions (concepts for free ;))-

IDEA/CONCEPT I

SWAP-WRAP : Hehehehe… heard about swapping, evil minds work faster, here the concept is- you swap a day of your life with another person, he may be a celebrity, Politician, Actor, Journalist, Business Tycoon or maybe just a simple human being,
The person has to share his experience what all happened, the challenges, the luxury, , just everything…the one who overcomes all the challenges will be a winner, and that’s when you wrap up! ‘Trust if outlined, this concept will have a super boom on Indian Television, I bet that! Who doesn’t want to live a life of another if it’s a dream come true, and who doesn’t enjoy watching a celebrity who can’t mange to survive even one day- a life of a common man.

IDEA/CONCEPT II

4th SEAT SPECIAL:  Mumbai and trains connect each other, more than half of Mumbaites travel by train to reach their destinations, and you and I know what a task and challenge it is to get into a train specially the ladies compartment :), and to top up that you got to stand or fight for the fourth seat, even if the 3 commuters sitting can adjust they will never accommodate you…yeah! the concept lies here randomly the host of the show will go during peak hours & the three people who will accommodate a 4th seat will get 3 month pass free for commuting, isn’t it interesting, at least this concept will be a reason for people to share the seat and at least the greed to win unite us, what say people :)

There is more in my Idea Box… I wish Indian television comes across these concepts and give it a thought!

Being Creative

Creativity is a phenomenon where a person creates something new, something which has ‘value’.

I'm going to explode what may be a common business paradigm - creativity isn't only or limited up to Advertising / Writers/Entertainers. Creativity is for any department that wants better solutions to whatever they are working on. And getting better solutions to problems is very practical.

The problem is that so many people are worried about being impractical, of coming up with silly ideas, being ridiculed by co-workers or having an idea that won't work that they won't look at any idea that seems the least bit different.

I have to tell you this - if you want better solutions than others, then you need to loosen up. Remember the Movie “Harishchandrachi Factory “everyone thought that Harishchandra was behaving silly, some thought he was insane, but he was the first man who gave India the concept of Cinema. People who made fun of him realized how great a man he was, so being silly is worth!

If you want to be truly innovative and creative, you've got to be silly. If you are scared to be silly, assuming what other people might think about you, then you limit yourself to some specific or careful ideas, and such Ideas are not too great

Just let go, relax think out of the Box and be silly, and you’ll come up with ideas which may not be good or bad but might have practicality, and may revolutionize your thought and process. It may also be beneficial to your business and the way people look at it. To me, this is a perfect combination of vision, innovation, and perseverance.

Another best way to do this is to open the windows and let in some fresh ideas. Invite your colleagues for brainstorming sessions. Listen with "open" ears to what these outsiders have to say. After all, if Harishchandra discussed his important thought with his wife (he said it was as much his wife's contribution as his), then surely we can do this in our own organizations.

Finally, put your great ideas into practice, and implement your innovation. Being creative might have lot of challenges but might just pay you a compliment or give birth to a Great Creative Idea!
